Paragon Lines, Inc. is a break bulk operator specializing in the transportation of raw materials, finished products, and project cargoes related to the steel, oil, agriculture and fertilizer industries. Paragon has carried inputs for the oil industry, intended for pipeline and drilling purposes, and various raw materials, to worldwide destinations; not only to ports of discharge but also to final destinations inland.

Since operating bulk carriers is one of Paragon's primary functions, they have held numerous contracts for the delivery of agricultural products and other bulk cargoes, including a major contract of iron ore from North Brazil to Argentina that encompassed the use of panamax vessels. Paragon has also held contracts with the Governments of Russia, Georgia, Greece and Armenia for the delivery of humanitarian assistance cargoes.

Paragon currently operates a small fleet of time chartered bulk carriers ranging in size from 15,000 DWAT to 70,000 DWAT. These vessels are primarily used for trading in the Americas, Europe, and Black Sea / Mediterranean region, however recently Paragon has become active in the Far East and Australian markets as well. Paragon can offer its clients comprehensive logistical service, including trucking, railroad, stevedoring, and insurance, in addition to ocean transportation.
